Hezbollah is restoring its military capabilities both south and north of the Litani River, according to reports from the Lebanese outlet Al-Modon. The group has increased its presence in villages situated near the 'Yellow Line' and in areas south of the Litani River near Nabatieh. These activities occur as the ceasefire remains in place across southern Lebanon.

Israel has communicated to Lebanese authorities that they have not fulfilled commitments regarding the disarmament of Hezbollah. Officials in Israel maintain that the current movements of the group violate the existing cessation of hostilities. Lebanese authorities have received these formal complaints as concerns grow regarding the status of the military zones near the Litani River.

Upgrading Drone Strike Capabilities

Al-Modon reports that Hezbollah has increased the payload capacity of its FPV drones. The group expanded this capability from 2.5 kilograms to 4–6 kilograms of explosives.

Engineers working with the group also modified the operational range of these unmanned systems. Al-Modon states that the cable length for Hezbollah's FPV drones has been extended from 20 to more than 30 kilometers. These technical adjustments provide the group with an enhanced reach for drone operations while the ceasefire continues across southern Lebanon.

Intercepted Explosives in Bekaa

Lebanese Armed Forces personnel intercepted a truck in the Bekaa Valley containing hundreds of kilograms of explosives. The seized shipment included significant quantities of TNT and C4.

Two suspects arrested in the Bekaa Valley provided information regarding the origin and intended destination of these materials. During questioning, the individuals stated that they received the explosives from a Hezbollah commander based in Baalbek. The suspects further alleged that their instructions were to transport the cargo to Beirut. Authorities have not disclosed the specific identity of the Hezbollah commander involved in the operation. These events take place as concerns persist regarding the movement of military equipment across Lebanese territory despite the existing cessation of hostilities. Military investigators remain active in the Bekaa Valley as part of the ongoing inquiry into the attempted delivery.

Shifting Operational Security Measures

Hezbollah has vacated several apartments and offices in Beirut's southern suburbs, including Dahieh. These movements represent a shift in the group’s operational security measures as concerns regarding regional stability persist. Individuals familiar with the situation indicate that the decision to abandon these locations follows security assessments conducted by the organization. The vacated properties served various functions, acting as both residential spaces and administrative offices for the group within the capital. Authorities monitoring the region observe that these changes occur alongside the ongoing ceasefire across southern Lebanon. While the specific reasons for these localized withdrawals remain linked to internal security policies, the relocation of personnel and equipment marks a change in how the group manages its footprint in densely populated urban areas. These adjustments leave several previously occupied sites empty as the group continues to manage its presence in areas outside the Bekaa Valley and south of the Litani River.
