Hezbollah is actively rebuilding its military infrastructure across southern Lebanon, with operations spanning areas both north and south of the Litani River. The group has simultaneously increased military deployments in villages positioned near the Yellow Line, including sites in the vicinity of Nabatiya. A report from Al-Modon stated, "If a large-scale war breaks out, it will reach Lebanon. Israeli is waiting for any opportunity for military escalation against Hezbollah, as it is working to convince Washington of the need to renew the war against Iran. Just as Tehran is anticipating the possibility of war against it, Hezbollah is preparing and equipping itself." These activities mark a shift in the status of the border region following the ceasefire.
Upgrading Drone Strike Capabilities
Hezbollah has enhanced its FPV drone technology by increasing the payload capacity of the units. The drones are now capable of carrying between four and six kilograms of ordnance. This modification represents a notable shift from the previous 2.5 kg capacity the group maintained for these systems.
Technical upgrades have also targeted the operational reach of the drone fleet. Hezbollah has successfully extended the range of FPV drone cables from 20 km to over 30 km. These adjustments allow the group to strike targets at greater distances than were previously accessible with the earlier hardware configuration. The modifications to both payload and range indicate a focus on increasing the destructive potential and reach of the unmanned aerial systems currently being deployed.
Arms Transfers and Internal Security
The Lebanese Armed Forces seized a truck in the Bekaa Valley containing 410 kilograms of explosives. The shipment included both TNT and C4, which authorities determined were intended for Hezbollah. Military personnel intercepted the vehicle during a security operation in the region, preventing the materials from reaching their intended destination.
Hezbollah has simultaneously initiated a series of evacuations across Beirut's southern suburbs. Members of the group have vacated various apartments and offices located within Dahiyeh. These movements were carried out in anticipation of potential Israeli assassination attempts. The precautionary measures reflect internal security concerns regarding the group's vulnerability to targeted operations within the capital’s urban centers.
